Nokia 8 with bezel-less display leaks in poster images

The fresh leaked image of the Nokia 8 reveal that the smartphone could sports a slightly curved bezel-less display, something similar to what we see in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

According to Arto Nummela, the CEO of HMD Global who holds the license to manufacture Nokia phones, Carl Zeiss and Nokia will be reuniting once again. While most of its new handsets have yet to reach a majority of the market, HMD Global is expected to keep launching some new phones through the year, but the company has been silent on whether a tablet will come into fruition in the near future.

When it comes to cameras, the Nokia 5 has a 13Mp camera on the rear with a dual tone flash, while the front-facing camera offers 8MP for selfies.

The device will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Although the Nokia devices are going to be affordable, the company didn't reveal the exact price of the devices. This pledge to constantly improve consumers' imaging experience is a reflection of the shared values between both businesses - a single minded commitment to quality, true craftsmanship and a desire to improve real life experience.

The currently listed models of the Nokia 6 have 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage and are priced at $229.99. Fuelled by a 2650mAh battery, the phone operates Android 7.0 Nougat. Those leaks also suggest that Nokia will be trying its hand at iris recognition, despite the system being considered not exactly that secure. However, it will also offer less RAM and NAND, compared to other versions.

Included in the Nokia 6 update is Google's July security patch for Android, this update addresses a number of vulnerabilities in Android. The Nokia 3 launch is still on schedule for July 12, however.

HMD Globally had recently brought to India three phones under the Nokia branding with the N3, N5 and N6 all catering to the budget segment. And if this indeed is the real upcoming Nokia flagship, then definitely we can say that Nokia is back to its former glory.
