Mitch McConnell has had a bummer of a summer.
Republicans looking to run for the Senate are also siding with Mr. Trump in his dispute with Mr. McConnell. "So I say very simply, 'Where is repeal and replace?" the president said. "Must Repeal & Replace ObamaCare!". To get anything - literally, anything - done in the coming months or years, he needs McConnell. John McCain joined two other Republicans in voting down McConnell's last-ditch effort on July 28.
This week, President Donald Trump made Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell his latest Twitter punchline.
In Trump's shot at McConnell on Wednesday, he wrote on Twitter, "Senator Mitch McConnell said I had 'excessive expectations, ' but I don't think so". At one point this summer, Trump was flanked at a White House meeting by Sens. But that rule hadn't applied to McConnell's health bills. Duh.
President Trump, who has been attacking McConnell all week, refused to say he should retain his position. It has always attracted marijuana growers because of its temperate climate, inexpensive land and proximity to urban areas. "But I hope the President recognizes that almost any substantial policy like tax reform is going to require the full and enthusiastic support of Sen".
It's those fees that auditor Rebecca Callen said the sheriff improperly tapped to help finance pot farm raids and arrests. They said they could get repeal done in weeks. Now I want tax reform and tax cuts.

Some Republican senators, most notably Arizona's Jeff Flake, have said they want nothing of Trump's viciousness and his appeals to the worst devils of our nature. That Trump rally predated all of Congress' attempts to redo health care, and the president urged the crowd to "be nice" to McConnell.
"There is no way to sugarcoat this".
Is Trump waging a war against his own party or is he using tough love to compel its members to accomplish his legislative agenda?
"This strategy only alienates his Republican colleagues on Capitol Hill that he needs to move his agenda", the adviser told The Post.
California counties and cities have been wrangling with whether to allow recreational pot operations within their borders since voters passed Proposition 64 in November.
"The leader has spoken repeatedly about the path forward regarding Obamacare repeal on the Senate floor, at media availabilities multiple times and in Kentucky", Antonia Ferrier, McConnell's spokeswoman, told the New York Times. His career has a lesson for McConnell, one the senator knows.
Democrats aren't that much more popular (34 percent approve), but as the minority party they have the most to gain in "throw the bums out" midterm elections. His standing soared, and he was promptly re-elected leader. "But we want to have it", Trump said. He's a go-between in a hard place, and he is a Senate institutionalist. They needed to adjust for the fact that they made a low-information voter president. They should keep it up. The projects include the $2 billion Nexus pipeline in Ohio and Michigan; the $1 billion PennEast pipeline in Pennsylvania and New Jersey; and the $5 billion Atlantic Coast Pipeline in West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.
