WH: No contradiction in Trump's tweets on surveillance law

When a "U.S. person" is mentioned in official intelligence reporting, the normal practice is for the name - whether of a person, a company, a ship or an airplane - to be redacted.

Shortly after his inauguration, Trump was regularly claiming that he had registered "the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan".

"They're actually better than they've been in a long time", said Acosta.

"'House votes on controversial FISA ACT today, '" Trump wrote, citing a Fox News headline. Ivanka Trump tweeted Monday. "However, we still think we can get there".

On Capitol Hill, Democrats were not impressed. Trump questioned at a White House meeting Thursday why the U.S. would accept more immigrants from Haiti and Africa than from places like Norway. "I am in a constant state of shock and horror", the email reads. "But he has some very strong concerns about the FISA program more generally". The President of the United States seems to have a problem here Wolf, in this area.

"Our security is not a partisan issue", said Coats, a former senator from Indiana.

Until that tweet, the Trump administration had strongly pressed Congress to extend the authority, before it lapses on January 19. The developments in the probe led by special counsel Robert Mueller have weighed on current Trump staffers and reportedly caused apprehension among potential newcomers. Proponents of renewal privately expressed frustration with the president, both his lack of discipline and his obvious ignorance of his own alleged policy preferences.

Over the weekend, Gary Cohn, the president's chief economic adviser, cited details involving public-private partnerships, according to The Washington Post. Later, Pelosi said during remarks on the House floor that she would vote for it. What they are doing is actively erasing and then rewriting history - and then shaming you if you happen to say "But, wait a minute, that's not at all what happened". House Republican leaders called the White House requesting another statement to clarify the president's tweet.

The examination lasted several hours and measured things like Trump's blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, heart rate and weight.

One of his tweet suggested that the foreign intelligence program was used to collect information that might have been used to taint his campaign.

I doubt she'd line her office with butt-kissers, too. Forty-five Republicans and 119 Democrats voted no.

The White House did not deny his remark but issued a statement saying Mr Trump supports immigration policies that welcome "those who can contribute to our society".

The tweets sent White House aides scrambling to explain the apparent about-face.

The nation's other top intelligence officials last year described Section 702 as their top legislative priority. Those workers are considered part of the workforce because they looked for a job in the past month.

But Trump took the opposite position Thursday morning in a tweet, apparently inspired by news reports.
